The bore is near perfect with strong rifling and lots of shine. The bore will rate a 9.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. This rifles action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfcet. Wood to metal fit is perfect. Wood sits "proud" on all metal contacts. There is no evidence of sanding or damage. The wood has retained 75% of the original factory varnish. Rare Rifle!!
