Overall candition is fine to excellent. 85+% of the original factory blue has remained now drifting to a nice plum patina. The bore is bright, shiny with strong rifling and will rate a 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage. 75% or iginal factory varnish can be seen on the stock and forearm. The action is perfect. case colors can be seen on the lever and hammer in protected areas. Very rare high condition early rifle!!
