Very rare Winchester Rifle. Probably 200 Deluxe Model 1894's to every one Model 1892 Deluxe. This rifle is untouched! Overall condition is fine. Barrel and magazine have retained 85-90% of the original factory blue. The bore is verygood and will rate a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. I see "leading" in the lands and grooves. The barrel is of the "Modern Nickel Steel" so it should clean to a 10 with a good scrubbing. The "Takedown" feature is mechanically perfect and tight with no evidence of adjustments. The receiver has retained 60-70% of its original factory blue with a tight, smooth and mechanically perfect action. Bright fire blue remains on the trigger and loading gate. Bright "Case Colors" remain on the Hammer. Case colors are present on the lever in protected areas. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage. Checkering is "H" pattern correct for this period. Checkering has no damage. Most all original factory varnish is present with cloudy areas on the butt. Scattered "Flaking" will be seen on the barrel, common for a rifle of this age.
