Winchester Model 1892 Sporting Rifle .25-20wcf. 24 inch octagon barrel. The serial number of this rifle is 40310X placing date of manufacture in 1907. Overall condition of this rifle is fine with the barrel and magazine retaining 95% of the original factory blue that is starting to "Plum". The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling from one end to the other. The bore will rate an 8-9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any breaks, chips or damage.(no abuse just handling/storage marks). This one will be a great shooter!!!
