Winchester model 1892 Sporting Rifle .25-20wcf. with 24 inch Octagon Barrel. The serial number of this rifle is 46077X placing date of manufacture in 1908. Overall condition of this rifle is excellent with 95+% original deep factory blue. The bore is verygood with strong rifling. I can see leading in the barrel. All the fouling should clean out with a good scrubbing. The barrel will rate a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. Should clean up to an 8 or 9! Case colors can be seen on the lever and hammer. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage or evidence of sanding. The stocks have retained 90+% of its original factory varnish!
