Winchesters Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine .44-40wcf. The serial number of this carbine is 760XXX placing date of manufacture in 1914. Overall condition of this carbine is excellent with barrel and magazine retaining 99.9% of the original factory blue. The bore is minty without any evidence of wear or use. The receiver has retained approx. 50% of its original factory blue with the remainder turning a nice even patina. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage. The wood has retained 95% of the factory varnish.
