The barrel and magazine of this rifle have retained approx. 95-97% of the original factory blue with a minty bore. The bore will rate a 9.9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The receiver has retained approx 95% of its original factory blue with a tight, smooth and mechanically perfect action. Lots of bright case colors will be found on the lever and hammer. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any evidence of sanding.
