Winchester Model 1894 Sporting Rifle .38-55wcf. The serial number of this special order rifle is 28776X placing date of manufacture in 1903. The barrel has retained approx.95+% of the original factory blue. The bore is in excellent condition. I would rate the bore a 9 on a 1-10 scale. The receiver has retained approx.85-90% of its original factory blue with a tight, smooth mechanically perfect action. The loading gate has retained 95% original factory "fire blue". Case colors are present on the Hammer and Lever. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any sanding. The butt stock looks to be a replacement (1930's vintage). Special order rifle with 1/2 round barrel and button mag.
