Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine .32-40wcf. The serial number of this carbine is 46062X placing date of manufacture in 1908. Overall condition of this carbine is verygood with the barrel and magazine retaining 65-70% of the original factory blue. The bore is dark with good rifling and will rate a 6 on a 1 to 10 scale. The rifling has lots of leading from soft lead bullets and will clean up with a good scrubbing with hope's #9 and a strong bronze brush. The bore should come back to a 7 or 8 after a proper cleaning. The receiver has retained approx. 40% of its original factory blue with a tight,smooth and mechanical perfect action. Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage. The stocks are a nice medium walnut.
