Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine .25-35wcf. The serial number of this carbine is 486102 placing date of manufacture in 1909,(first year of .25-35). This carbine was ordered with a "cresent Butt-rifle stock) seldom seen during this era. Overall condition is very good with mostly patina finish. The bore appears to have severe leading and will need major scrubbing with Hope's old #9 and a good bronze brush. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically correct. Wood to metal fit is very good with no damage. This carbine will make a great little brush gun!!!
