Winchesters Model 1894 Sporting Rifle .38-55wcf. Antique Semi-Deluxe. The serial number of this rifle is 655XX placing date of manufacture in 1896. The barrel and magazine of this rifle have retained apprx. 85-90% of the original factory blue. The bore is minty and will rate a 9.9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The stocks are extra fancy walnut with a checkered forend and lots of "Tiger Stripes". Wood to metal fit is perfect without any damage or evidence of sanding. 1/2 round/octagon barrel with takedown feature. Nice honest rifle.
